Records for all twenty are available on request and are added to this page as we photograph them.
Why we keep the record
In this trade painters are anonymous and interchangeable on paper, which is convenient for a factory and expensive for a buyer. The painter who made your bestseller may not be there when you reorder, and nobody will tell you.
Our painters are on long-term contract and paid by the piece, so we can do the opposite: assign by subject, archive every commission against the painter who made it, and send the reorder back to that person when you ask for them. If they are unavailable we tell you before we start rather than substituting quietly.
How assignment works
We read the subject before we read the schedule. A portrait goes to someone who spends their working life on faces; a heavy-texture abstract goes to someone who works with a knife. Assigning by availability is faster for us and worse for you.
What we do not publish
Names and faces, unless a painter asks otherwise. What matters commercially is the record — which commission belongs to which painter, held in our file and available to you when you reorder.
