Send the photo and the size
The highest resolution you have. A phone photo is usually fine; a screenshot usually isn't.

We check it and assign a painter
We check resolution and copyright, then give the piece to a painter who specializes in that subject.
- Days 1–2
You approve a proof
Composition, crop, size and any artistic direction, confirmed before any paint is used.

We paint it
Built up in layers. Larger or more detailed pieces take longer, and we'll tell you the date up front. Hard deadline? Tell us and we'll plan around it.

What we need from you
- The photo at the highest resolution you have
- The finished size, and rolled or stretched
- What you'd like beyond the photo: a style, a mood, or details to add
- Confirmation that you have the rights to the image
What we won't do
- Copy a living artist's work without a license. Takedowns land on the seller, so we stop it at the start
- Promise a color on screen will match pigment exactly. For color-critical work, order a sample first
- Give your reorder to a different painter without telling you
Questions about custom orders
All questionsWhat resolution does the photo need?
For a 24 × 30 in painting, anything above about 1,500 pixels on the long edge is comfortable. We'll tell you at quotation if a photo is too small, before you pay anything.
Can you do more than copy the photo?
Yes. Tell us what you have in mind, whether that's a softer background, a looser painterly style or details you'd like added, and our painter will interpret it. You'll see it in the proof before we start.
What if my customer wants changes after seeing the photo?
Tell us and the painter will rework it before it's packed. Within reason, we don't count revisions.
Can you ship straight to my customer?
Yes. Blind shipping with no Velaturo branding, by express courier such as DHL.
