A studio in Xiamen, twenty painters, one record per canvas

Where we are

Huli District, Xiamen, in the Wushipu area — one of the two production districts that supply most of the world's hand-painted paintings. Our studio covers 2,000 square metres. Visitors are welcome; the airport is twenty minutes away.

Who paints

Twenty painters on long-term contract. Each has spent more than twenty years at the easel, trained through the Shenyang Academy of Painting and the Xiamen Academy of Arts. They are not freelancers passing through. That matters commercially, not sentimentally: it is the only reason we can promise you the same hand twice.

Why the record exists

Most factories in this trade run on flow labour. The painter who made your bestseller may not be there when you reorder, and nobody will tell you. That is the most common reason a reorder comes back wrong, and it is invisible to the buyer until it happens.

So we number our painters, assign by subject, write the number on the back of the canvas, and send the reorder back to the same person. None of that is expensive. It is simply not what this industry does.

What we take on

Commissions from your images. Original series developed by our own painters, which stay yours. Reproductions of public-domain masters. Work by artists who have licensed it to you. We decline work that infringes a living artist's copyright — including when the client is willing to take the risk, because in practice that risk lands on the seller.
