The reorder problem

A range sells, you reorder, and the second batch is not the first. In almost every case the cause is the same: a different person painted it and nobody told you. We archive every commission against the painter who made it, and send the reorder back to that painter when you ask for them.

Exclusivity in writing

An original series developed for you is not sold to another buyer, and the reference material is archived rather than circulated. This is standard in our contract — you should not have to negotiate for it.

Freight is the hidden cost

Rolled canvas prices on a fraction of the volume of stretched work and several pieces travel in one tube. We cure before rolling, interleave with glassine rather than plastic film, and roll face-out on a wide core, because canvases rolled early crack along the curve and the damage appears weeks later at your end.

Developing a range

Tell us the price point, the size band and the rough direction. We come back with concepts from our own painters within two to three weeks, and you own what you commission.
